Buddies...

Creative Scrappers Sketch # 294...

Hi Friends!

Today over on Creative Scrappers Blog. it's reveal day with guest designers from the Clique Kits Design Team.

I decided to play along :)

Here's the sketch...

I started my layout off by cutting the round and round cut file from Just Nick Shop, and a free cut file (May Mash-up) from The Cut Shoppe Blog.

I stuck to the basic placement of  this sketch, except I use one photo.

Buddies...

This photo shows the special bond and unconditional love that these three share.
Titan is one lucky dog, but I can also say that my husband and son are the lucky ones!

Here are a couple of close-up of my layout...

Here you can see the cut files I used...
For my journal I used some stickers phrases, I had in my stash...

I love using little clusters around my page, here you can see one to the left of my photo.
Added a couple of buttons ( Big red one from Fancy Free collection), rubber charm stickers(life Noted from PinkFresh) and a few enamel dots to finish off the layout.

Take a moment and head on over to Creative Scrappers Blog. to see the guest designers from Clique Kits take on this sketch!

Hello Beautiful!

Butterfly Grab A Bite...

Hi Friends!!!

I have some exciting news!  I were invited to be part of Creative Scrappers  Design Team for the next few months.
I'm still pinching myself and doing my HAPPY dance all around the house. :)
Hoping to inspire you to use the awesome sketches at Creative Scrappers...

Today I am sharing a layout I made using one of Kristine Davidson sketch, and a Juliana Michaels cut file.

Here's the sketch I used...

I started my layout off by cutting the Butterfly Frenzy cut file from 17 Turtles and it's a freebie.
I cut the file in two different sizes, the three smaller ones are about four inches.
I made one about ten inches, this I used as my background.

On the grids I machine stitch around the edge to form a frame.
Added my embellishments in small clusters around the layout...

Here's a few close-up...

Hope I inspire you to create with Creative Scrappers sketches...

Thanks for stopping by :)

Enjoy The Moment...

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Friday friends!

Sharing my latest layout I made of myself, to celebrate Mother's Day.

 Enjoy The Moment...

I started my layout off by cutting the Forever Floral a cut file I got from Just Nick Shop.
I wanted to do something a little different, so instead of using one patterned paper to back my cut file.
I decided to cut out some small circles, and then started my design by overlapping the circles one on top the other.

 Here's the beginning process...

I used my cameo to cut the Forever Floral three times, every cut I used a different color.
I glued all three pieces together, overlapping a little to give it some dimension.

Here's a closer look...

Once I decided where my cut file and photo were going to be placed, I handstitched a few X 's around the page.
The title" Enjoy The Moment" also a cut file from Just Nick Shop.

This was very time-consuming, but the end results was worth it! :)

Here's another close-up for my layout!

Birthday Boy's !!!!

My October Boy's...

Happy Wednesday!
Hi friends, Today I'm back to share a layout I made using a sketch from Page Maps.

Here's the sketch!
(April 2016)

Both my husband and son have October Birthdays, so we celebrate the whole month with cake, ice-cream, and of course gifts. I think I gain 5 pounds just writing this! :)

I use the sketch as it was intended.

I started my page of by using patterned paper from Simple Stories Let's Party collection....
My layout also features a cut file from Kerri Bradford Studio, the arrows in this cut file is just idea I was looking for...

Here's the layout (Bithday Boys)

I created a little cluster to the bottom right of  my photo which came in the Let's Party Collection.

Here's a better look...

Here you can see the cut file (Need Direction?) on the layout..
I love the look this created...

Added my title, journaling and a few splashes of paint around the page to finish it off.

 Thanks for stopping by:)

Love This Monent...

That's MY Boy!

Hi Friends!

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

Stopping by today to share a layout I made for Kristine Davidson instagram challenge, using the Dreamcatcher Background 1 from Just Nick Shop.

I started my layout off by cutting the Dreamcatcher Background into two different sizes.
Once I had a rough idea where I wanted the dreamercatchers and my photo to go, I used patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Happy Camper collection to back one of the cut file. On the smaller cut file I decided to use vellum, so that your eyes are drawn to the photo and the larger circle.

Once my cut files were ready I machines stitch around the edge of the larger one, leaving the the smaller dreamcatcher as is...
I  then decided to handstiched a few curve lines coming from the circle, and I really like how this turned out...

I love lot of dimension on my layout, so I added form tape between the layers of stars as well as behind my photo.
To the right and left corners of my photo, I added a little cluster of stars embellishments, and you can also see here I added a flair buttom to the top of  one.

Here's a another close-up

 Thanks for stopping by:)
